FOURTH WEDNESDAY EVENTS
What
are you doing the fourth
Wednesday of April?
Do we have a deal for you and
your entire family! Starting in
April, Good Shepherd will offer
a family event every fourth
Wednesday beginning with a
Pot-luck supper at 6:00 pm. At
7:00, after supper, we will
break into small groups to
explore current issues. There
will be age appropriate groups
for the kids too. By 8:00 you
will be on your way home.

ANNUAL EVENTS FOR YOUTH AND
FAMILIES
Christmas Pageant: Each year
the children of Good Shepherd
put on a pageant during the
Christmas Eve service. Children
of all ages are invited to
participate in this special
program. Details regarding the
theme and rehearsal schedules
will be posted in the bulletin
as the season approaches.
End-of-Year Party: At the
close of the Sunday School
session in May, we celebrate the
year with a fun-filled outdoor
party for all the children. The
setup is similar to a small
carnival with games, face
painting, a bouncy house and
some yummy treats. It’s a great
way to kickoff the summer!
Vacation Bible School: VBS
is another event which we host
each summer with St. Timothy’s
Episcopal Church. Each church
alternates as the host location,
but we share resources and
teachers to ensure an exciting
adventure for all the children!

Spring.
Summer Picnic: Every summer
the parish of Good Shepherd
gathers at a local park for an
afternoon of family, fellowship
and food! We grill out, chill
out and relax as we get to know
each other better. Children are
entertained with plenty of
activities and games! Look for
details in May.
Fall Parish Retreat: This
year’s weekend getaway will be
held at the
Bear Trap Ranch in Colorado
Springs. It will be a fun-filled
weekend with
activities for the entire
family. The theme is “Living Our
Faith with Joy and
Responsibility” and we hope to
have a great turnout!
