Good Shepherd Fellowship Opportunities

Christmas Pageant: Each year the children of Good Shepherd put on a pageant during the Christmas Eve service. Children of all ages are invited to participate in this special program. Details regarding the theme and rehearsal schedules will be posted in the bulletin as the season approaches.

Advent Party: At the start of the Advent season, Good Shepherd invites all parishioners to join in celebrating this joyous time. There are a variety of crafts and activities for all ages, and a potluck meal with singing & fellowship! It's a great event for the whole family!

End-of-Year Party: At the close of the Sunday School session in May, we celebrate the year with a fun-filled outdoor party for all the children. The setup is similar to a small carnival with games, face painting, a bouncy house and some yummy treats. It's a great way to kickoff the summer!

Vacation Bible School (VBS): VBS is another event which we host each summer for children from ages four through 5th grade. This is always an exciting, themed adventure for the children and volunteers alike! Details are posted each Spring.

Summer Picnic: Every summer the parish of Good Shepherd gathers for an afternoon of family, fellowship and food! We grill out, chill out and relax as we get to know each other better. Children are entertained with plenty of activities and games! Look for details in May.

Pumpkin Patch: New in 2010. During the month of October Good Shepherd turns its "back yard" into a giant pumpkin patch where we sell pumpkins in all shapes, colors and sizes, as well as a variety of gourds. The pumpkins are shipped from a Navaho Indian reservation in New Mexico and 100% of the proceeds go benefit a variety of parish outreach ministries. With treats for the kids and a live scarecrow, this is a great way to spend a fall afternoon with the whole family!
