It’s not too late to take part in “Discipleship: Explore Your Life With God,” Good Shepherd’s fall, small group program. This six-week series will feature a new video program titled “Hazardous Saints, Christians Risking All, Changing Everything,” presented by Episcopal priest and General Seminary professor, C.K. Robertson. This program, which you can preview by going to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIjboYHp2ik will invite participants to:
reflect on the key qualities of discipleship that six ancient and modern “saints” demonstrated in their lives, and
develop their own personal vision of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.
There is no cost for the program and, unlike recent small group Bible study programs at Good Shepherd, no “homework” is required. Three groups are currently scheduled: Sunday morning at 8:45 am (led by Karin Elsen and Elaine Oxenbury, beginning October 1), Wednesday night at 7 pm (led by Randy Hubbard and Susie Street, beginning October 4), and Thursday morning at 10 am (led by Fr. Craig MacColl and Deb Sampson, beginning October 5) You can sign up to participate at Church, on the Church web site, or call the Church office.
A fourth, “Discipleship” small group will meet in November, when the Tuesday morning women’s Faith Club group will use the same material for their weekly sessions. If you’d like to join this group to participate, contact Tina Hubbard at 303-694-9630.
