Sunday school teachers and helpers will be recognized on May 20, after the Peace, at the 10:00 service.  Please plan to attend and support all the wonderful people who have given of their time and talents over the school year to teach your kids and youth the Bible and show God’s love to them.

Sunday school begins downstairs at 9:45 every Sunday.  On May 6, the combined Godly Play classroom (for children aged 3 years through 2nd grade) will have the presentation At the Sea of Galilee, followed by The Ascension on May 13, Pentecost on May 20 and Baptism on May 27.

The themes for grades 3 through 5, using Living the Good News, will be: Chosen for Love—In today’s gospel Jesus assures His disciples that He has chosen them to love one another and to work together (May 6); Joyful Witness—Jesus prays for those, both present and future, who are witness to the truth of His message.  After Jesus’ ascension, the apostles pray for God’s help to fulfill their task of choosing someone to join them. (May 13); All Things New—Pentecost (May 20) and God Revealed---In His meeting with Nicodemus, Jesus identifies the three Persons of the Trinity and invites us to enter into the loving embrace of our Triune God on May 27.

Save the date:  Sunday, June 24 is the date of this year’s all church picnic that will be held immediately following the 10:00 service.
