Each year Good Shepherd holds an all-night prayer vigil immediately following our Maundy Thursday service during Holy Week.  The Maundy Thursday Prayer Vigil or “Maundy Watch” takes place in the Chapel from Thurs. April 18, at 8:00 pm – Fri. April 19, at 8:00 am, and commemorates the time Jesus spent in the Garden of Gethsemane with the disciples prior to his arrest.  It is a time of silent prayer before the reserved sacrament. You can be part of this tradition by signing up in the Narthex, or by emailing our parish administrator, Kathy Hunter at k.hunter@gshep.org.

FOR SECURITY REASONS, WE ASK THAT EACH 30 MINUTE TIME SLOT BE TAKEN BY AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE, and you may sign up for more than 30 min.  Vigil participants are asked to enter and leave the chapel by the side door.
