Join us in the Sanctuary for this year’s Easter Vigil Service!

Our Prayer Vigil Service begins at 7:30 pm

The Great Vigil of Easter was the original 1st century Easter liturgy. There are four parts: the lighting of the new fire, which is Jesus’ spark of life rekindled in the tomb, the reading Old Testament scriptures, in which we hear stories of how God has been saving his people throughout history, renewal of our Baptismal vows, and lastly, the first Eucharist service of Easter, when we celebrate Christ's resurrection and the fact that we have been raised to new life with him. Our service begins at 7:30 pm.

After the Service we will gather in the Parish Hall for a festive celebration of the “burning of our mortgage” with special treats and a champagne toast.
